John has been a professional Tour Guide for over 30 years.  He has been the guiding force behind our growing business.  His knowledge and experience in Educational Travel and Logistics makes us the premier tour provider in the Southeast.  In his spare time he is the consummate fisherman.

Tony Infantino

Director of Sales and Marketing

Tony is a Licensed DC Tour Guide who also taught 8th grade for 12 years in North Carolina before he joined our team 11 years ago.  His love for travel and educating students has fueled his passion for his current position.  Tony enjoys helping teachers enhance their classroom through field trips.

Nicole Trueheart
Accounting / Tour Guide

Nicole is a Tour Director who has worked for the company part-time for over 5 years.  She was a client of the company for 10 years while she taught school at Pleasant Union Elementary School in Raleigh.  Due to the continuous growth of our company, she has been brought on board full time to join Susan Holbrook in the accounting department,  but she will also continue to travel with schools as a Tour Guide.

Tim Holbrook, DMCP
Tour Guide

Tim is the only "Destination Management Certified Professional" in the Carolinas.  He has over 30 years in educational travel.  With his experience as the Logistics Director of the G-8 Summit for the White House and years of Meeting and Event Planning for Fortune 100 Companies, you know that you are in good hands with Tim.  When he is not guiding trips he enjoys kayaking, surfing and fishing.

We have over 20 Tour Guides, most of them are former educators.  They will assist you throught the entire trip so you can relax.  Let us handle the details.

John Holbrook III

Founder / Tour Guide

John founded Holbrook Field Trips in 1974.  His thirty years of teaching and coaching experience in the Guilford County School System has made him eminently qualified to make the tours a learning experience for students outside the classroom.  He now resides in Kure Beach, NC and directs the Coastal Educational Programs.  He enjoys using a metal detector and searching for sharks teeth on the beach.
