We are searching for a vibrant tour guide to join our team and established company.  

 

The tour guide's responsibilities include reviewing travel itineraries, familiarizing customers with the locality by bus or on foot and ensuring the group remains safe at all times. You would also stay up to date with new attractions that may be of interest to customers. To ensure success as a tour guide, you should have a knack for customer service. An outstanding tour guide will be able to perform minor alterations to each itinerary to suit the unique interests of each group. 

 

Responsibilities:

​

• traveling to school/pickup location to greet and welcome customers to the tour

• communicating clearly all aspect of the trip with the lead teacher and the lead bus driver

• creating a communication group for all key stakeholders for the trip

• reviewing and informing customers about the itinerary for each tour

• adjusting itineraries in accordance with weather forecasts and the length of each tour

• cross checking all itineraries and confirmations provided by the tour planner

• familiarizing yourself with the layout and history/ region or establishment in which you will be working.

• familiarizing customers with each region or establishment 

 

Requirements:

 

• prior experience as a tour guide or school teacher

• adherence to prescribed safety measures

• excellent conversational skills

• outstanding organization, time management, and flexibility

• passionate about travel

• must have own transportation for traveling to and from pickup/drop-off location
